Day off today as it’s Friday, so I went back to bed after walking the dog, as I felt the body needed some extra rest.

It. was. glorious.

I worked on some personal projects in the afternoon and then brought the doggo out again for her afternoon walk. As I was walking her, I noticed a missed call from a neighbour – so I called him back. His car is a bit poorly, so he just wondered if I could I spin him into the town, but as I missed him, he got it sorted.

He also mentioned that he had an event in Coventry to attend but had to cancel it due to the car issue. I said I could get him to the station, so before long, we were at the station with minutes to spare for his train. Good deed for the day done. I also checked in on his dog and took him out for some walkies.

Back home I got the log burner on, while we ate our dinner, with ‘The Bear’ on. It’s such a damn good show, really getting into it – I’m loving the warm storyline and each of the character’s unique personalities.

To finish off the day, I had another walk – solo this time, just listening to some music. I ended up with another 3.5km in the bank and just over 20,000 steps for the day.
